Hello everyone. So the month of August rolled by too fast it seems and now it is already September. August was a pretty busy month as I had a lot going on in my life, what with my children going back to school etc. My routine got busy with dropping and picking the children off to school.
The things I reached most for my use in the last month were my mostly hassle free and my go to as managing chores with children demands quick action things. Following products were the most used and are also my favorites for the month of August.
This blush is a gorgeous shade of pale pink. It is excellent for brightening the face complexion. I use this on the apples of my cheeks to give a light flush of color. You can see that this beauty has hit pan.
I LOVE this lipgloss. It is super pigmented. The applicator is super easy to use as it applies beautifully. The color pay off is excellent. It is a nice pinky coral shade which is perfect for summers. It doesn’t settle into lines or fades off. and also very moisturising. I am a big fan of this gloss. You guys can even guess by looking at the tube, as I have almost finished it and I still keep digging in the tube 😉
Maybelline Baby Lips is a great product. I have reached for this product alot in the last month. It has become my favorite lip balm as it is super hydrating, pretty color pay off, tints the lip with a little color, even application and the list goes on with its pros. One can even apply this and go to run errands as it brightens the complexion and looks like a nice color gloss.
The Essence Sun Club Oil Control paper is an awesome and budget friendly blotting papers. I bought this a long while back and have just started using this and I am loving it. I used this mostly to refresh my makeup by blotting the excess oil off my face specially in the T-Zone area. I also sometimes use this before applying sunblock to get the excess oil off my face so the sunblock or makeup applies smoothly. This is a very good product.
This particular blush by Essence is magic. Why I say this is because it has a myriad of colors in its compact which can be used individually or mixed together. It has a bronzer, a blush and highlight shades which when used together looks very subtle but pretty.
I have a tendency of using quite a lot of lip balms as I like to keep my lips hydrated and looking plump. And for this purpose I am always on the search out for some nice lip balms. I recently purchased this Body Shop Born Lippy and fell in love with it. This is an excellent product as it hydrates your lips, is travel friendly, a little goes a long way, smells absolutely delicious.
I got this dry shampoo as a sample with the Herbal Essences shampoo. Interestingly I was in need of a dry shampoo and when I used this, I was instantly transported to a place which spoke of freshness and sweet smells. This dry shampoo is just awesome. It has a perfect mix of smell of fruity and floral. The mist is quite even. It does not leave a white cast on the hair. Keeps the hair smelling nice and fresh all day long. Though the nice fragrance loses its strength by the end of the day but over all I was pleasantly surprised by this bottle.
Last but definitely not the least was the Kurta and Trouser from Thredz which I wore a lot this last month as it is very cool and airy. The trouser is two toned like we can wear it from both sides. I couldn’t take a separate picture of the clothes as my camera stopped working 🙁
So, I hope you all will like this post. Do share with me your favorites of the month 🙂
I would love to hear from you all. Do comment, share and like this post.
Until next time 🙂
