SWASDEE 🙂 or hello. Recently I went on my vacations to Thailand. It was an exciting and thoroughly enjoyable trip. Let me know if you guys want me to do a mini travelogue on my trip, I shall be more than happy to comply 🙂
As you well know that I am a mother of two active boys and travelling plus shopping with kids is not an easy feat 🙁 I kid you not, it is a pretty Oscar worthy job;) Ok, maybe not Oscar worthy but nonetheless it is pretty much close to an award worthy job 😛 But I did manage to buy some stuff which was to my liking, although I couldn’t manage to tick off most of the items from my shopping list, but, at the end of the day I was happy what I could manage.
Asian beauty products are all the rage nowadays in the Makeup and skin-care World. Specially their sheet-masks. And my main focus was on them.
So following are some of the items I bought from Thailand.

BOOTS HAUL.
There were four major shops that I could visit in my short stay in Thailand. First one was Boots. If you happen to visit Thailand then do visit the stores I mention as they are excellent in getting products when you have no time. Plus they have great deals and discounts going on.Like for starters in Boots you can get a discount card made which is absolutely FREE and the benefit of it is that you can avail a 10% discount on your purchases in all the Boots stores all over Thailand. And the offer is for the Lifetime. AWESOME!!! So let’s get started. Following are the things I purchased from Boots pharmacy:
- CATHY DOLL SHEET MASKS
Cathy Doll is a Korean brand and you can pretty much find their products in almost all beauty shops in Thailand. I bought their sheet-masks in different types like juicy tomato, healthy carrot, shiny purple cabbage 😉 I mean look at the cute and interesting names. Also I love the pretty packaging <3
2. MY BEAUTY DIARY AND BOOTS SHEET-MASKS
I got a great deal on the Boots pack of five sheet masks. I got another pack for free 😀 Who doesn’t like free stuff? Certainly I do. I also picked up this cute light pink sheet-mask by My Beauty Diary. Both these sheet-masks are from Korea.
3. EVIAN
I bought the Evian Facial Spray as it helps to tone, moisturize and refresh the skin. As we have a long summer ahead, I thought this would be a great buy to keep handy and spritz on your face on the go.
4. BOOTS VANILLA BODY BUTTER
Anything that smells of Vanilla automatically beckons me towards it. I am a big fan of Vanilla fragrance. So, naturally when I spied this Body butter lying on the shelf, I quickly grabbed it. And the rest as they say is history 😛
5. SOAP AND GLORY KICK ASS POWDER
This was a wish list item. This is a setting powder and I have seen a lot of You tubers raving about it. So, naturally I had to buy this so I could test.
6. BIODERMA MISCELLAR SENSIBIO WATER
A gentle cleanser this is. I purchased this as it was on a deal. Again this was a product which was in my wish list. Glad I bought it.
These were some of the items I purchased from the BOOTS Pharmacy. Now I shall share with you guys the stuff I got from WATSON’S.
WATSON’S HAUL
Watson’s is a chain of Health and Beauty stores in the major countries of Asia. You can find practically EVERYTHING here. From makeup to shampoo to baby wipes to skin care, medicines…you name it and you will find it here. Usually Watson’s and Boots pharmacy are located, if not side by side then definitely close by. Watson’s is much cheaper then Boots pharmacy. But they both are equally good. If you are short on time, just rush to these two stores and most of your shopping will be complete 🙂 Following are the items I purchased from Watson’s:

FAMILY MART AND SEVEN ELEVEN
Again you can find so many Family marts and seven elevens. Practically in every nook and corner, you find these stores. And they are loaded with some awesome goodies. I purchased:
- Some more sheet masks.
- Some snail serum for skin.
- Tamarind candy (so yummy)
- Some more Korean skin care creams and serum.

And last but definitely not the least was my purchase of MAC fix plus and Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream 😀 😀
So this pretty much sums up my Thailand Haul. I know it mostly consisted of sheet-masks but that is what the Asian are more popular for. The innovative use of ingredients like collagen, snake venom, snail mucous and what not in their skin-care regimen is pretty interesting.
