My pretty readers who look forward to my monthly tirades of beauty talk SORRY for being MIA from the blog. I have neglected my blog and I seriously feel awful for it 🙁 There was so much going on in my life, that I couldn’t take time out to really sit down and have a heart to heart chat with you all. But, lets put all of my busy craziness behind us and straight away jump on this month’s Favorites 🙂
Let’s start of with skin. I have been using the following product for a good six months and now is the right time to share my thoughts on it. So read along:
- FREEMAN FACIAL ENZYME MASK PINEAPPLE
One of the best products that I got to try and loved on the first application, this mask is too good to be true. Now why I say that? because not only does it delivers exactly what it claims, but it is also very affordable:0 It contains AHA(Alpha hydroxy acids) that helps in exfoliation of the dead skin cells and stimulates skin renewal. How cool is that? 😉 Not only that, after using this mask my skin ALWAYS looks clearer and brighter plus smooth too. Beauty of this product: You only need to apply this for 5 to 10 minutes. WOW. Try this mask people, its pretty awesome stuff <3
2. PIXI GLOW TONIC
Another one of my new favorites, this toner is legit wonderful. It is an exfoliating toner that has 5% Glycolic acid, Ginseng and Aloe vera. Apart from the exfoliation, it also soothes and brightens the skin. It is gentle enough to use on sensitive skin. My skin has improved for the better after using this Toner. Skin looks clearer, brighter and smoother 🙂
3. MAYBELLINE AGE REWIND CONCEALER
This concealer is a true gem. I got emotional and ordered three shades that are light, brightener and neutraliser after being so impressed by it. This does not crease on me, is of good coverage. One can build up the intensity depending on the look and choice. I am currently using the shade brightener which visibly brightens the under eye area without looking ashy or too pale.
4. TOO FACED CHOCOLATE SOLEIL BRONZER
I have been shy to use bronzers. Frankly I did try to dabble with them, but my experience wasn’t too good. Only because I did not have the right shade to play with. This bronzer is perfect for my skin tone as on application it looks pretty natural without giving my skin a reddish or overly brown/tan look. It smells like chocolates, which is a bonus 🙂 also it blends beautifully. I find this bronzer to be one of the perfect shades of cool tone taupe to not only bronze up the face with but also, you can use this to lightly contour up your face with this too 😉
5. ABH CONTOUR KIT
This particular contour kit has been my go to kit for not just August but other months too. The simple reason for this is that it has got two contouring shades and a bronzer. Plus two setting powders, one a bit peachy other a banana shade. And also a matte highlighter. I love using this kit to contour, set and highlight my face with. It is not patchy and quite finely milled. Over all a good product to use.
6. MAC MEHR
I recently hauled MAC Mehr. As I couldn’t wait too long to open it, I started using it quickly and loved every bit of it 🙂 MAC Mehr is a matte finish lipstick though I should mention that on my lips, it is not drying at all and pretty comfortable to wear. It is a mauve-y shade which can be easily worn for every day running around of chores. I have worn this lipstick practically every single day for the last month. This lipstick when mixed with other lipsticks can also render a beautiful shade.
7. EGG BRUSH CLEANER
My life has become so much easier since I got this silicone egg-shaped brush cleaner. This is such a great tool to clean makeup brushes effectively with. My dirty brushes are squeaky clean after I swirl them on the raised columns of the silicone egg. Also there is an opening , through which one can easily hold the cleaner in one hand and clean with the other. Very handy, travel friendly and pocket friendly too.
So this my lovelies wraps up my August beauty edition of Favorites. I hope you have enjoyed reading about them. Do share your thoughts on my post. I love reading your feedback 🙂
Until next time,
