Collecting empty bottles and jars of the products that I have used up over the last few months isn’t an easy task. Specially when I don’t like collecting trash. On the contrary, I LOVE throwing anything that is sitting on its behind for too long without being useful 😉 But ONLY in the case of good beauty products that I like to share my thoughts on them with you, that I resort to collecting them all empties.
By now you must have guessed what today’s post shall be about. So lets just jump right in. Shall we?
Read on to know my worth re-purchasing empties 😋
I am out of these amazing pre-soaked pads which are excellent for toning, brightening, hydrating and gently exfoliating the skin even when travelling. These come in a plastic tub and are already pre-soaked. You only need to whip out one pad and wipe it across the face.
These are very good for travelling as one doesn’t need to carry toner and cotton separately. These pads are infused with the goodness of 5% Glycolic Acid, Aloe vera and Ginseng. This easily lasts up to 2 months.
I had been using this serum for a good 4 months and loved it immensely. It is light weight, non-greasy and fast absorbing formula. This made my skin look bright, even and glow-y. On days I forgot to apply this on my skin, I could see a visible difference, for my skin looked lack lustre and dull.
Vitamin C plays an important role in protecting the skin against free radicals and repairing the skin against pollution, sun damage and minor irritants. It makes the skin bright and healthy.
We all have been using Vaseline products lovingly since childhood. This is one brand I trust fully and completely among some other few. I have been using their lip balms and lip jellies and enjoy it thoroughly too. This particular Body lotion rescued me in all of the winter months.
Guys and gals with dry skin issues get this drugstore gem ASAP. It delivers so well. My skin becomes very dry in winters and this lotion was like a soothing balm for my parched skin. My skin not only felt moisturized but it also glowed subtly. WOW. How cool is that? 😍 For the winter months, this body lotion is a MUST in my shower vanity 😊
I got to try the travel sized version of this cream as this cream is pretty expensive on its own the full sized. I used to apply this in evenings and it lasted me a good 3 weeks. What I noticed was that my skin appeared plump and supple. This is a luxurious cream formulated with Alguronic acid, Microalgae oil and a plant ased collagen. A delightful bouquet for your face.
As its pretty expensive, I am on the search for a product that works in a similar manner. Will share my findings with you guys soon 😉
My go to, everyday worn MAC Lustre lipstick in the shade Plumful is finished and as I love this lipstick so much, I have already stocked this up 🤪 I personally like the lustre finish lipsticks more. These are more comfortable and wearable on the lips.
There isn’t much to talk about this lipstick as I have talked on this quite a lot in my previous favorites. But this is a good pink mauve-y toned lipstick for everyday wear. Good to have in your makeup stash.
I suffer from hyper pigmentation on my cheeks and have to wear sunscreen from morning till evening. I am always on the lookout for some very good and comfortable sunscreens. This CLARINS one I tried and really liked wearing. It had a non-greasy, comfortable formula and somehow as it had a high SPF of 50 I felt confident wearing this on my face and exposed areas.
One thing which is vital for a good and healthy skin is wearing sunscreen EVERYDAY without fail and reapplying every 2 hours.
7. ISSEY MIYAKE PLEATS PLEASE EAU DE TOILETTE | 50 ML 1.6 FL.OZ.
Apart from skincare I am a perfume obsessed freak. Good fragrance is a big turn on for me. My husband gifted me this a while back and I kept wearing this in the day time. It is such a nice feminine fragrance. I have gotten so many compliments on this perfume. People have actually stopped me and asked me what perfume am I wearing? And that is such a nice feeling knowing that I smell divine.
This perfume comes in 3 sizes. It has upper notes of peony and sweet pea and base notes of cedar, vanilla and white musk. I couldn’t find a proper link to the product, as it was launched with the fashion collection Pleats Please in 2012.
Imagine you are on an island, sipping pina colada and living the life of your dreams. Comforted by the lapping sounds of the ocean and gazing lazily up the palm trees. And the warm comforting scent of coconut and vanilla that tickles your nose after you’ve had a good relaxing massage, that is what the scent of this perfume is and more.
I personally love vanilla notes in fragrances and love wearing them probably all year round, This particular travel sized bottle reminds of my last vacation to Maldives, where the resort smelled of coconuts and vanilla. For people who love warm fragrances, get this, you won’t be disappointed. Also this perfume is a Kathleen Lights recommendation ❤
So that sums up my favorite empties. Do you like any of these?
