November Favorites

Can you believe it???  We have finally entered in the month of December…New Year is just 31 days away? WOW. Time is flying by so quickly. Really can’t believe that this year is finally coming to an end, and we are ushering in a New Year that will hopefully be filled with lots of new adventures, some good some bad, as good and bad go hand in hand 😉

Anyways coming back to this post, I was combining my monthly Favorites and Empties together for the last two months BUT this time around I have some pretty awesome Favorites that I got to try and fell in love with. That is why I decided to write two separate posts for Favorites and Empties 🙂

As I was busy attending some meetings this past month,  I got to play more with my make-up stash then I usually do. The things I reached for mostly and loved while wearing them are as follows:

  1. Maybelline Baby Lips in the shade Pink Lolita

If you have been reading my blog for some time now,  you must be knowing how much I love the Maybelline Baby Lips range. ALL of it. It’s genius. Why? Simply because I have tried many tinted lip balms and mostly I have been disappointed. If the lip balm left behind a nice tint, it usually didn’t moisturize. But with this product I was simply amazed that it not only leaves off a nice tint on the lips but it hydrates them for a long time too. I have also tried the Electro line in the Maybelline Baby Lips range and it is great too. So for the long and chilly winter days and nights, this lip balm is your best friend 😉

2. Essence pure NUDE make-up

Essence Cosmetics is one of my favorite brands, there is no secret about it. I don’t exactly remember when I purchased this foundation but this has been my go to foundation for the last couple of months. I mix this with another of my favorite foundation and it simply looks flawless. When wearing this on its own, it gives off a very light to medium coverage without making the skin look cake-y at all. It is more like a BB cream or a tinted moisturizer. The formula is not completely matte but has a light dewy finish. The coverage can be built on. Feels extremely light weight on the skin <3

3. Wet wild COVERALL CORRECTING PALETTE

I don’t color effect on a daily basis or even when going out BUT when I want to look flawless and if I have not had my beauty sleep 🙂 I do use color correcting. Wet wild coverall correcting palette is a very good correcting wheel. It has four different colors for the various problem issues to target on the skin with clear instructions on how to use which color and where. It blends easily in the skin and does a pretty good job in color correcting. Good decent product.

4. Laura mercier translucent powder

One of the best translucent powders out there. This stuff is ahmazing <3 It is so finely milled, doesn’t clog my pores, sets the makeup beautifully, isn’t cake-y or powder-y. I mean I can literally rave about this for like this entire post BUT I won’t 😉 you have to see it to believe it 🙂 Now I use ONLY this powder for baking under my eyes or setting my concealed areas on the face. Though I have the travel sized in my make-up stash but you only need a little amount with this powder. I know that this will last me a looong time. LOVE IT <3

5. benefit bene tint

My first memory of ever breaking my bank account over something was when I hauled lots of benefit make-up goodies for myself. In that particular haul, I also purchased the cult favorite bene tint as I have always been attracted to historical romance novel heroines. I remember all the authors sketching such a naturally beautiful lady with rosy cheeks and rose buds for the lips that I became obsessed with achieving this look. Now with my little knowledge of make-up I somewhat know how to make one look ” naturally ” beautiful 😉 Anyways bene tint is an excellent product to achieve the fresh young and rosy look. It has a rose-y tint that is multi-purpose, as you can use this on your lips, cheeks and pretty much anywhere you want to tint 🙂 The tint leaves behind such a pretty and even light rose color that looks very natural and not made up at all. I am glad I have this with me 🙂

6. M.A.C PREP +PRIME FIX+

M.A.C Prep+Prime Fix+ has become my holy grail product. This moisture mist is so great for a lot of things. From popping the eye-shadow color to setting the face, from taking the powdery look off the face to giving off a glow-y look to the make-up, this genius does it all. A staple product in my make-up bag now. I am now looking for a travel sized bottle to keep with me for my trips abroad <3

7. NARS Radiant creamy concealer in the shade custard

I love this concealer <3 The shade is just perfect for my light to medium skin tone. It doesn’t cake or crease under my eyes. It covers my dark cells very well. Over all a good product.

8. MASARRAT MISBAH SILK FOUNDATION in the shade beige

Masarrat Misbah silk foundation in the shade beige has been my go to foundation coupled with the essence pure nude one for the last couple of months. I like mixing these two foundations to achieve a flawless base. Massarat Misbah foundation is full coverage and I need only a pump to work its magic on me. It is a beautiful coverage foundation.

9. essence MATT MATT MATT 03

wearing the lip color here.

I have been complimented so many times on this lipstick that I was amazed myself 🙂 I purchased this lipstick just last month and  I have almost used half of it up :0 I love the berry mauve-y color of this lipstick. It wears so comfortably on the lips too. I am now thinking of purchasing more shades in this line. You can check a detailed review on this lipstick HERE <3 <3

9. Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder Palette

This was the first highlighting palette that I purchased for myself. Hourglass ambient lighting palette is a class in itself. For ladies who want a heavy dose of glow on their face, this palette is NOT for them. It is extremely finely milled. One can achieve an ethereal glow or more like a lit from within glow from this palette. Many highlighting addicts don’t like this palette. But I LOVE this palette as I go for more subtle highlight or a naturally lit look. The best thing is you can layer this up and it doesn’t accentuate the pores on your face. Each color can be used individually or can be swirled together to set the face or under eye area or highlight 🙂 <3 I reach for this palette the most than any other highlighter.

So this sums up my November beauty favorites 🙂 I hope you enjoyed reading this.
