I don’t shy away from wearing Orange. This color packs a solid punch and makes the other person stop in his tracks and take notice for a while ? Agreed, it’s not for the faint of heart but I like my bold colors and when this summer Massarat Misbah Makeup launched MM Orange, I couldn’t stop myself and rushed to get myself this orange goodness ? How did it fare? What are my thoughts on it? Read on to know the real deal on this shade of lipstick.
The Massarat Misbah Lip Varnish in the shade Orange is a beautiful, bold and bright true orange shade. It comes in a matte black tube with a secure cap that closes with a click. The outside of the packaging is black, while on opening the cap the lipstick is encased in a shiny golden tube. Very chic! The packaging is sturdy and not cheap. The lipstick tube feels quite light weight on holding in the hand.
It doesn’t have any noticeable scent or taste, at least not to me ?The texture of the lipstick is creamy matte. I really like the texture. It glides on smoothly without tugging or skipping. Doesn’t settle in lip lines or creases. Doesn’t ball up. It wears for a very long time, I would say a good 6 to 7 hours. And it fades evenly with leaving behind a subtle orange tint, as if you’ve had an orange popsicle ?Though it does transfer a bit. Best is to line your lips and then apply the color, blot with a tissue paper and then re-apply.
One can carry this as a stain or a full on bright color on the lips. It doesn’t dry out the lips owing to its creamy texture. I like how it is opaque and you only need one swipe across your lips and you are good to rock and roll! ?
